AADE Membership
The American Association of Dental Examiners is a national association
that encourages the highest standards of dental education, promotes higher
and uniform standards of qualifications for dental practitioners, and
advocates uniform methods in the conduct, operation and working of dental
examining boards.
Membership is comprised of boards of dentistry, specialty boards
(recognized by the American Dental Association), present and past members
of those boards, board administrators, board attorneys, and dental and
dental hygiene educators.
Two important goals of the AADE are the sharing of information among
its memberships and developing collaborative relationships between
examiners and educators.
Membership in the AADE is organized in the following categories:

Member Agency - boards of dentistry of any state, district,
dependency or province of Canada. |

| Specialty Board Member specialty boards recognized by the
American Dental Association. |
|
|
|
|
|
Active Member anyone who serves on a board, is an
administrator or is a board attorney.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Individual Active Member - anyone who no longer serves on a board
and chooses to remain an active member of the association. |
|
|
|
|
|
Associate Member anyone who is employed to examine on behalf
of a dental board or is an examiner for a specialty board (recognized by
the American Dental Association).

|
|
Educator Member a full or part-time faculty member of a
school or program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. |

|
|
|
|
Life Member active and individual active members who:
- maintained membership for ten consecutive years and reached age 70.

maintained membership for six years and pay a fee of
$1500.
